handipay / Pricing

One price. Say it out loud.

No subscription or setup fee, no per-seat charge. handipay charges 1% per paid invoice, nothing when you don't get paid.

The cap

The most Stripe ever takes is $5.

Bank debit payments cap at $5 no matter how big the job. Cards run about 2.9% plus 30 cents with no ceiling, and handipay adds 1% per paid invoice on top of whichever rate applies.

Worked example

What a $2,000 job actually nets you.

$1,975.00

Paid by bank debit: handipay takes $20.00, Stripe's fee is capped at $5.00. You keep the rest.

Paid by card instead, Stripe's cut alone runs about $58.30, some $53 more than the capped bank debit fee.

Everything else

Everything else is included.

Quotes and progress billing, job management and team seats, customer records, CSV export, and PDF invoices and receipts are all included. There are no feature tiers and nothing extra to unlock.

Pricing questions

Are there fees on quotes or jobs?

No, the 1% fee applies only when an invoice gets paid. Quotes, jobs, and everything else are free to use.

What does bank debit cost?

Stripe charges 1% plus 40 cents, capped at $5, and handipay adds its usual 1%. On a big invoice, that beats a card by a wide margin.

Do team members cost extra?

No, invite your whole crew: roles and permissions are included at no extra cost.

Is there a free trial?

There is no subscription to trial. You pay 1% only when an invoice gets paid, and nothing before that.

Does marking an invoice paid by cash or e-transfer cost anything?

No, handipay's 1% fee only applies to invoices paid through the handipay pay page; cash and e-transfer cost nothing.
