Do my customers need an account or an app to pay?
Your customer pays by card, by Apple Pay or Google Pay, or straight from a Canadian bank account. Paying by card or wallet takes an email address and nothing else: no account, no app. Bank debit and part payments need a free handipay login.
What can my customers pay with?
Card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Apple Pay or Google Pay, or straight from a Canadian bank account if they have a handipay account.
Can a customer pay part of an invoice?
Yes, if they're signed in to handipay. Guest payments cover the invoice in full.
Does my customer get a receipt, and can I export my invoices?
Every paid invoice gets a receipt on its own permanent page that opens anytime without a login, and a cash or Interac e-Transfer job you mark paid by hand gets exactly the same receipt. Does the receipt show the tax breakdown?
No. The receipt shows the total paid, the date, and the invoice number; the tax breakdown lives on the invoice itself.
