handipay / Invoicing

Get paid the day the job ends.

Every invoice carries a pay link and a QR code. Your customer pays by card or wallet, and a permanent receipt lands in their inbox.

01

Send the link or show the QR

Text it, email it, or hold your phone up at the job site.

02

They open one page

The invoice opens right in their browser, ready to pay.

03

Email in, then pay

They add an email for the receipt, then pay by card or wallet.

04

The receipt sends itself

The invoice flips to paid and a permanent receipt goes out by email.

Guest pay

They just tap and pay.

They tap the link, see the amount, and pay, no harder than ordering a pizza.

Card payments and wallets clear fast, so the job's paid before you're back in the truck.

The big tickets

Bank debit is the cheap way to pay a big job.

Cards are fast, but the fee grows with the invoice. A customer with a handipay account can pay straight from their bank instead.

Stripe's bank debit fee never passes $5, no matter how big the invoice. On a $4,000 job, that's $5 instead of about $116 in card fees.

Also included

Tips and refunds on every payment.

Tips

Customers can add a tip at checkout, capped wherever you set it. It shows up as its own line, never folded into the total.

Refunds

Refund whatever was collected, tip included, right from the invoice. Nothing moves without your say so.

Automatic receipts

Every payment locks in a receipt, right away.

The moment a payment clears, by card, bank debit, or marked paid by hand, handipay writes a receipt: the amount, the date, and the invoice it settles.

That receipt is permanent, with its own public link and no login needed to open it.

Questions about invoicing and payments

Do my customers need an account or an app to pay?

No. They tap the pay link and pay with just an email for the receipt; an account is only needed for bank debit or a partial payment.

What can my customers pay with?

Card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Google Pay and other wallets, or straight from their bank account if they have a handipay account.

Can a customer pay part of an invoice?

Yes, if they're signed in to handipay. Guest payments cover the invoice in full.

Does the receipt show the tax breakdown?

No. The receipt shows the total paid, the date, and the invoice number; the tax breakdown lives on the invoice itself.

Can my customer find their receipt again later?

Yes. Every receipt lives on its own permanent page and reopens anytime with the link, no login needed.

Does a manually marked paid invoice get a receipt too?

Yes. Cash and e-transfer jobs marked paid get the exact same receipt as a card or bank payment.
