Send the invoice before you're back in the truck.
handipay is invoicing, quotes and job scheduling for Canadian trades. Your customer taps a link and pays. No app for them. No paperwork pile for you.
You didn't start a business to chase money.
Invoices from the truck, not the kitchen table.
Deposits before you order materials.
Every job, crew and dollar in one place.
Your customer pays from the link, not you chasing them.
Every invoice carries a pay link and a QR code: they tap it, type an email, and pay by card or wallet. See how payments work.
Send a quote they can accept from the couch.
They tap accept right on their phone, on record with the date and time. Add a deposit and it invoices itself on acceptance; the rest converts in one tap. See how quotes work.
Get paid in stages, from deposit to done.
Set the schedule on the quote once, and each stage becomes an invoice the moment you tap it. See how progress billing works.
Every job on the calendar you already check.
Every job carries a crew, start time and address. Subscribe once and it lands in the calendar app you already carry. See how jobs work.
Your crew opens the day and knows where to be.
Add someone in minutes, pick a role, and their day is laid out for them. See how team roles work.
Reminders go out and records keep themselves.
Reminders never double up, and every payment gets a permanent receipt that opens anytime with no login. See how receipts work.
One fee, and only when you get paid.
$5
The most Stripe takes for a Canadian bank debit payment, any size. Cards run about 2.9% + 30¢; handipay's own fee is 1% per paid invoice, no subscription or setup fee.
Know another tradesperson who should get paid faster?
Share your code. When they start collecting payments with handipay, you earn up to $25 in credits for every person you refer. Credits come off your own fee automatically, so the next few invoices you send cost you less.
Common questions
What people ask before signing up.
Do my customers need an app?
No, they tap the pay link or scan a QR code and pay by card or wallet, or straight from their bank with a handipay account.
When does the money arrive?
Card payments typically land within a couple of business days; bank debit takes about five.
What does it cost?
1% per paid invoice, only when you get paid, no subscription or setup fee. Stripe's own processing runs about 2.9% + 30 cents for cards, or 1% + 40 cents capped at $5 for bank debit.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, invoice, quote or check the calendar from your phone on site: nothing to install, it works everywhere.
Can my crew see prices?
Employees see the billing on their own jobs; the business-wide numbers sit with owners, accountants and managers.
